Our tester praised the perfect hold of the foot and the super grippy sole while running and hiking in the mountains over steep, muddy and rocky terrain. The Viking Anaconda Trail BOA GTX trailrunning- and hiking shoe is also very comfortable and easy to adjust due to the Boa-System Lacing. The fabrics contain up to 50 percent recycled material and the Gore-Tex membrane keeps the feet dry. This underlines that over time, proven designs can be made better and more sustainable.

Built to master the trails and give you the confidence to concentrate on the path ahead, Viking’s Anaconda Trail GTX BOA helps to move quickly and comfortably over any terrain with their newly developed oversized Ultimate Grip Concept soles. Anaconda Trail GTX BOA is made of less material than its predecessor and contains 50% recycled upper, 49% recycled lining and 100% recycled webbing. A waterproof Gore-Tex membrane and the side-mounted BOA® Fit System guarantee a snug fit, and an easy-on pull loop at the back makes Anaconda Trail GTX BOA the perfect trail shoe.

PRIMARY INNOVATION FEATURES 

The Ultimate Grip Concept outsole has a special multi-directional tread pattern for maximum traction, keeping you confident on your feet over all types of terrain and in all types of weather. Their newly developed dual-density cushioning system combines soft foam in the heel for the ultimate plush landing and firmer foam in the forefoot for a stable and responsive gait. The oversized compression-molded EVA midsole allows the foot to sit within the foam, yielding extra support and protection while negotiating uneven terrain. That extra cushioning is engineered and shaped for a specific action, with its generous heel and toe spring easing the transition from heelstrike to toe-off on every stride. A combination of carefully finessed components and anatomically enhanced geometry.
